Holly Creek’s New Courtyard Takes Central Stage

August 5, 2022

Several years in the making, Holly Creek’s restored south courtyard is blooming anew with summertime beauty. A network of footpaths and gazebos, new flowers and two sparkling fountains replaced an older pergola and putting green.

A committee of interested community residents selected the design of the new courtyard area. Construction and planting occurred over the last year. The vibrant and inviting space now offers residents and visitors alike a new favorite spot to soak up the sun, catch up or enjoy the outdoors with their dogs. For those with homes along the courtyard, it also provides a bright view and an easy way to connect outdoors.

The area is a gathering spot for all residents. “We don’t live on the courtyard, but we often meet with friends there,” said resident and courtyard committee member Karen Possel.  “We take lemonade and chat with friends for an hour or so and sit in the shade. That is wonderful!”
