All About the Holly Creek Life Plan Community

We’ve captured the spirit of freedom and independence that defines Colorful Colorado Living — an uncompromising lifestyle full of new possibilities or the re-igniting of past interests. Life here is wide open and secure — because you’re prepared for whatever life may bring.

Founded in the south Denver area in 1972, our parent organization, Christian Living Communities, is true to its mission of  “enriching the quality and dignity of life for each individual.” Holly Creek is part of a family of senior living communities that touch the lives of more than 1,000 older adults each day.

Our Vision

Creating communities where aging is honored and celebrated

Our Mission

Christian Living Communities enriches the quality and dignity of life for older adults through services and care that reflect Christian love, respect, and compassion toward each individual.

Who We Are

Local Leadership

Local Leadership

Our parent organization, Christian Living Communities (CLC), was founded in south Denver in 1972. In pursuit of a shared vision and mission, CLC’s family of senior living communities and services touches the lives of nearly 1,000 Coloradans daily. Its 50+ years of experience in exceeding the expectations of older adults serves as a foundation and inspiration for the next 50 years.

CLC is revolutionizing aging services by fostering cultures of citizenship and belonging, and is encouraging other senior living communities to do the same.

While our leaders are often called upon as national experts, mentors, and partners, they are right here in town. Our leaders know Holly Creek residents, and vice versa. They listen to and partner with residents, sharing a deep understanding of what makes our community unique and how to make it stronger.

The Non-Profit Difference

The Non-Profit Difference

As non-profit organizations, Holly Creek and our parent organization, Christian Living Communities (CLC), are committed to our mission of enriching the lives of older adults. Our mission guides all decision making across the organization.

We are accountable to an all-volunteer board of directors rather than shareholders. CLC prioritizes resident and team member well-being above all else, and is not required to maximize profits in the interest of owners or shareholders as for-profit companies are.

Holly Creek’s and CLC’s profits are managed for the future growth of our organization to ensure we are able to sustain and grow our collective mission.

Our Culture of Citizenship

Our Culture of Citizenship

The Citizenship Model, created by our parent organization, Christian Living Communities, is an age-positive, empowerment approach rooted in the belief that each individual, at every age and level of abilities, has gifts, passions, talents, and experience that can make the community stronger and better.  When people view themselves as active citizens in their communities, there is influence, meaning, autonomy, belonging and an overall sense of well-being.

Holly Creek residents, team members, family members, and our vendor partners are all citizens, who together, weave a vibrant tapestry of living.

We believe this approach will revolutionize aging services, moving beyond traditional cultures that focus on a declinist view of aging to purpose-filled cultures of shared responsibility, to citizenship.
